Kashmiri Pandit Cricket League Season-4 to Kick Off in Jammu on October 20, 2024

Jammu, September 16: The much-anticipated Kashmiri Pandit Cricket League (KPCL) Season-4 is set to be hosted by the Safran Cricket Club from October 20 to October 27, 2024, at the Country Cricket Stadium in Gharota, Jammu. This thrilling cricket tournament will witness twelve competitive teams battling it out for supremacy in a series of exhilarating matches.

The participating teams have been strategically divided into three pools to ensure a balanced and exciting competition. Pool A features Milchar Chargers, Shankara Club, Royal Strikers, and Shailputri Cricket Club. Pool B includes 777 Masters, Satisar CC, RSCC, and Yest We Can Club. Pool C is composed of Titans, Shiva Bhagwati Vanquisher, Alpine Avengers, and Royal Challengers.

To elevate the excitement and competitive edge of the matches, new rules like the Impact Player and Power Serge will be introduced for the first time in Jammu. These innovative rules are designed to enhance the gameplay and bring a fresh dynamic to the league. The tournament will follow an ‘all play all’ format during the league stage, ensuring that each team has ample opportunity to showcase their skills. Following this stage, the top eight teams will advance to the knockout rounds, culminating in a series of high-stakes quarterfinals.

Sarthak Khoda, the Chief Organiser of the tournament, emphasized that these new additions aim to make the league more advanced and engaging for both players and spectators alike.

The KPCL has consistently garnered success in its past three seasons, attracting teams not only from Jammu & Kashmir but also from major cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, and Pune. This widespread participation underscores the league’s growing popularity and its reputation as a premier cricketing event.
