New Delhi [India], September 19 (ANI): Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar showered praise on all-rounders Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja for their exceptional counter-attacking partnership, which transformed India’s position from a state of despair to one of dominance in the first Test against Bangladesh.
In the first innings of the match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Ashwin and Jadeja delivered stellar performances that were crucial in salvaging India from a precarious situation. At the close of play on day one, Team India had reached a formidable 339/6, thanks largely to Ashwin’s unbeaten century (102*) and Jadeja’s strong showing (86*). Their unbeaten 195-run partnership was instrumental in stabilizing the Indian innings.
Taking to social media platform X, Tendulkar wrote, “From despair to domination! @ashwinravi99 and @imjadeja’s knocks have turned the tide for India once again. This all-round brilliance is invaluable. Super partnership boys. #INDvBAN.”
