Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is almost here! The game is set to launch in less than two weeks, and if you’re eager to dive in, you can start pre-loading it right now on both PC and consoles. One interesting thing to note is that this year’s game has one of the smallest file sizes we’ve seen from a Call of Duty title in quite some time.
Want to know exactly when you can start playing? If you’re in the UK, mark your calendar for October 25th. The game unlocks early at 5AM BST, giving you a full day of playtime. If you’re in Central Europe, you can start playing at 6AM CEST. For those in the US, the game goes live even earlier—10PM CST on October 24th. So, depending on where you are, you could be playing before others!
If you’re planning to play Black Ops 6 on PC, make sure your system meets the requirements. At minimum, you’ll need 8GB of RAM, paired with a Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel Core i5-6600 processor, and a Radeon RX 470 or GeForce GTX 960 graphics card. For better performance and higher frame rates, it’s recommended to have at least 16GB of RAM, along with a newer Ryzen 7 or Intel Core i7 CPU, and a Radeon RX 6800XT or GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card.
In terms of storage, the game will take up 102GB of space. This includes the campaign, multiplayer, and zombies modes. If you pre-load the game, you’ll only need around 60GB for the campaign and multiplayer initially. Keep in mind that Warzone is a separate mode, and downloading it will increase the overall file size. So if you’re planning on enjoying all game modes, make sure you have plenty of extra SSD space—around a couple hundred gigabytes should do the trick!
