If you’re excited to dive into Black Ops 6 as soon as it drops on October 25, you’ll want to make sure it’s preloaded. Preloading means you download the game before its release, so you can jump right in when it launches. To do this, you’ll need to know when the download becomes available and how much space you’ll need on your device. Based on our time with the beta, Black Ops 6 looks like it could be one of the top FPS games this year. So trust us when we say, it’s worth getting everything ready ahead of time.
Black Ops 6 is just around the corner and already impressing players who tried out the beta. Its fresh movement mechanics and fast-paced action have really stood out. Plus, for those with Game Pass, the game will be available at no extra cost, making it even easier to jump in.
Here’s everything you need to know about preloading Black Ops 6, including when you can start downloading and how much space you’ll need on your PC or console. We now have the exact preload time, so you can start clearing space for what’s going to be a pretty big download.
The preload for Black Ops 6 goes live on October 21 at 9AM PT / 12PM ET / 5PM BST across all platforms. At that time, you’ll be able to download the entire game, including Multiplayer, Campaign, and Zombies modes, so you’re ready to play as soon as the game officially launches on October 25.
As for file sizes, we only have information for PC so far. According to the PC Specs, which have been released, you’ll need around 102GB of space for the download. This should cover all the main modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. However, if you also plan on downloading Warzone, you’ll need to reserve even more space. We’ll update once we have details on console file sizes.
