Kira Reynolds, a four-star basketball recruit in the Class of 2025, is set to play college basketball at Purdue. But before heading to college, she’s making waves with an incredible final season in high school basketball.
Over the weekend, Kira made history by achieving the first-ever quintuple-double in Indiana. For those unfamiliar, a quintuple-double happens when a player gets double digits in five key stats: points, rebounds, blocks, steals, and assists—all in the same game. This level of performance is something you’d expect to see in a video game, not real life!
Kira plays for Washington High School, which is located between Evansville and Bloomington and has around 800 students. The school’s basketball team, known as the Hatchets, competes in Indiana’s 3-A level within the Pocket Athletic Conference.
As one of the greatest high school players Indiana has ever seen, Kira recently hit a major milestone. She became the first player in state history to record over 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 500 blocks, and 300 assists in her career—and she still has at least six games left this season.
Washington High has been dominating with a 15-1 record so far, and Kira is a huge reason for their success. She’s putting up impressive averages this season: 16.6 points, 13.5 rebounds, 6.5 blocks, 6.3 assists, and 3.5 steals per game.
Her talent on the court is undeniable, and her historic achievements are setting the bar for future athletes while cementing her legacy as one of Indiana’s best.
