Sipur and MGM Television are fortifying their successful collaboration with a renewed agreement, aiming to deliver even more exceptional content to viewers worldwide. This partnership underscores the dynamic growth and influence of the Israeli television and film industry on the global stage.
On Tuesday, Sipur, an international entertainment powerhouse based in Israel, and MGM Television, a division of Amazon MGM Studios, announced the extension of their first-look production and distribution deal. This renewal is a testament to the continued prominence of Israeli creators in the realm of global entertainment.
Lindsay Sloane, head of MGM TV, expressed enthusiasm about the ongoing partnership: “Sipur has been an invaluable ally, sharing our commitment to creating premium content that resonates with audiences globally. We are excited to continue this productive relationship, which will allow us to bring even more engaging stories to viewers around the world.”
Echoing this sentiment, Sipur CEO Emilio Schenker highlighted the collaborative spirit: “MGM Television has been an excellent partner, consistently supporting our ambitious co-production projects. This renewed agreement empowers us to advance our mission of elevating high-caliber film and television projects on an international scale through strategic partnerships.”

Their latest endeavor, “We Will Dance Again,” directed by Yariv Mozer, delves into the tragic massacre by Hamas terrorists at the Nova Music Festival on October 7. The documentary features interviews with survivors, cellphone videos from victims, and footage filmed by the terrorists themselves. This poignant narrative will be broadcast on Hot Channel 8 in Israel in late September, with international audiences able to view it on Paramount+ in the US and BBC Storyville in the UK, as well as in Australia.
In addition to “We Will Dance Again,” Sipur’s recent projects include “Munich ’72,” a gripping documentary, the reality dating show “Hungry For Love,” and the upcoming drama series “Bad Boy.” These projects reflect Sipur’s dedication to diverse and impactful storytelling.
MGM Television, known for its extensive portfolio of global productions, has created series for over 100 countries. Notable works include “Wednesday” for Netflix, “The Handmaid’s Tale” for Hulu, and “Fargo” for FX.
