On Thursday, the creators also released the high-octane trailer for “Yudhra,” which is packed with riveting action sequences. The trailer opens with a dramatic voiceover: “Abhimanyu knew how to enter the Chakravyuh but never learned how to escape.” This sets the stage for Siddhant Chaturvedi’s character, Yudhra, who is seen battling a gang of thugs. He boldly declares, “Kaafi garmi hai tum logo mein, main bhi thoda garam ho jaata hun,” before taking hot coal from an iron and smearing it on his face, and then using a sewing machine to stitch someone’s hand. The voiceover continues, adding intrigue: “You thought I was Abhimanyu, but I am his father, Arjun.”
The trailer delves into Yudhra’s past, revealing the tragic death of his father, a policeman who perished in a car accident. Shortly after, Malavika Mohanan’s character enters as Yudhra’s love interest, striving to temper his rage and offer emotional support. The tension reaches new heights when Ram Kapoor’s character tasks Yudhra with completing his father’s unfinished mission—taking down a notorious drug lord. The intensity further escalates with Raghav Juyal portraying a menacing villain, turning scenes into chaotic bloodbaths. To uncover what happens next, viewers will need to watch the movie when it hits theatres.
Directed by Ravi Udyawar, “Yudhra” is slated for release on September 20.
