Jharkhand State U-19 Badminton Trials Kick Off, Krish Dubey and Sarah Sharma Among Top Contenders

Jamshedpur, September 16: The prestigious Jharkhand State U-19 Badminton selection trials for the National Championships have commenced at the renowned Tata Steel Badminton Training Centre in Jamshedpur. This highly anticipated event, meticulously organized by the Jharkhand Badminton Association, will span four days, concluding on September 19, 2024. Over 100 talented players from various districts across the state are competing fiercely, showcasing their skills and determination.

Among the standout participants is Krish Dubey, the reigning champion in the Boys Singles U-19 category. With his eyes set on retaining his title, Krish is expected to deliver an impressive performance. Meanwhile, in the Girls Singles category, Sarah Sharma from East Singhbhum emerges as a formidable contender, bringing her exceptional talent and competitive spirit to the forefront.

K. Prabhakar Rao, the dedicated Secretary of the Jharkhand Badminton Association, emphasized the significance of this tournament in identifying and nurturing the state’s finest young badminton talent for the nationals.
