Open Table Tennis League Season 2 Concludes in Kohima

Kohima, September 18 (MExN): The Kohima District Table Tennis Association successfully concluded the Open Table Tennis League Season 2 on September 17, after a weekend filled with exhilarating matches and remarkable talent. The event saw participants competing fiercely across various categories, showcasing the depth of skill within the table tennis community.

In the Men’s Doubles category, Kelhouravi Vivian Rutsa and Meyinukshi Longkumer claimed the championship title. They delivered an impressive performance, defeating Seyievilie Seyie and Chomithung Ngullie, who put up a strong fight to finish as runners-up. The final match was a thrilling display of strategic play and athleticism, drawing enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

The Women’s Singles category saw Thejavinuo Rio emerge victorious, demonstrating exceptional skill and focus throughout the tournament. Avitoli K Yepthomi secured the runner-up position after a series of closely contested matches. Rio’s victory in the finals was a testament to her dedication and rigorous training.

In the highly competitive Men’s Singles category, Kelhouravi Vivian Rutsa once again showcased his prowess by securing the winner’s title. Meyinukshi Longkumer finished as the runner-up, underscoring his consistent performance across both singles and doubles categories. Seyievituo Yano and Seyievilie Seyie shared the honor of joint 2nd runners-up, each displaying commendable skill and sportsmanship.
